Product Information - Large organic peppermint leaves are finely chopped, almost ground, increasing the amount of flavour that is obtained on brewing, to make a minty, refreshing drink that is highly satisfying both hot and cold. A native of the Mediterranean, peppermint leaves were often used to crown luminaries in ancient Greece and Rome. It continues to be revered for its refreshingly light aroma, as well as its natural, caffeine-free taste. The organic peppermint leaves come from Egypt. Steenbergs organic peppermint is a lively and refreshing organic herbal tea with a wonderful clean, fresh, minty aroma and a light green colour. Steenbergs organic peppermint tea is loose leaf. Brewing tip: brew with 1 teaspoon of leaf per 2-cup pot (2.5g per 180ml water). Add boiling water, infuse for 4 minutes. Do not add milk. Use a micro fine filter or a DIY teabag for this product
