Lime Leaves should be stored in airtight containers as they do lose flavour when exposed to air.

Latin Name - Citrus hystrix

Kaffir lime leaves can be used in the same way as bay leaves and give an aromatic lemon verbena flavour to many dishes. Try adding them to milk or cream and infusing to make sauces.  You should discard the leaves before serving
