Product Information - Curry leaves, when fresh, have a heavenly, citrus aroma as well as a mouth-watering acrid quality that stimulates the taste buds. The flavour is similarly lemony but without the sharpness of lemons or limes. Dried curry leaves have less obvious citrus notes, but they are still definitely there.
Curry leaves are great in fish curries, especially if  using coconut milk for the sauce. These organic curry leaves come from the forest gardens in Sri Lanka.

Product Information - Originating from the Kari tree of Southwest Asia, Curry Leaves are an important aromatic flavouring for curries and soups. They are an essential ingredient of curry powder, green chutneys and marinade pastes and are used mainly in Southern Indian cooking. When starting a curry or soup dish, fry the Curry Leaves in oil until crisp.

Latin Name - Murrya koenigii

Curry Leaves are grown extensively throughout Asia and are often added to curries to increase the flavour.  In the West it is only possible to obtain dried leaves and more have to be used to obtain the strength of flavour
