Product Information - Steenbergs has developed the first organic Fairtrade vanilla extract. Vanilla extract uses the actual "extract" of the vanilla seed pod with an alcohol base and is intended for consumption as a flavour additive and should not be confused with synthesised essences and flavourings which are commonly available.  The difference between the two is like night and day! Vanilla Extract has a wide variety of uses in cooking and baking.
